Recently, our six Clue characters got together to play a game of Clue. During the evening, they played six games, and each won a different game. During each game, first through sixth, each person’s namesake ended up being the suspect during the game, and in each of the six games, the weapon used was different (candlestick, knife, lead pipe, revolver, rope, and wrench), as well as the room in which the crime was committed (Ballroom, Conservatory, Dining Room, Kitchen, Library, and Study).
From the clues, determine in each game who did it, with which weapon, and in which room, and the winner of each game. Note: Namesake means that the players name is the same as the suspect in the game.
1. No character won a game in which his or her namesake was the suspect.
2. Prof. Plum won the game immediately after the one in which the wrench was the weapon, which was the game immediately after the game in which the scene of the crime was the kitchen.
3. During the first game, the suspect wasn’t Mrs. White, and during the last game, the suspect wasn’t Col. Mustard.
4. Miss Scarlet (who wasn’t the suspect in the game in which the weapon was the rope), wasn’t the suspect in the game where the scene of the crime was the Study.
5. Three consecutive games, in order from first to last, were the game in the lead pipe was the weapon, the game in which the scene of the crime was the conservatory, and the game in which the suspect was Prof. Plum.
6. The revolver was the weapon used in the game just after the game in which the scene of the crime took place in the Study (which was not the game won by Col. Mustard).
7. During one game Mr. Green was the perpetrator of the dire deed and used the the knife.
8. Prof. Plum did not win the game in which the suspect was Miss Scarlet.
9. Three consecutive games, in order from first to last, were the game in which the weapon was the rope, the game in which the scene of the crime was the Library, and the game that Mrs. Peacock won.
10. Miss Scarlet won the game in which the scene of the crime was the Dining Room, but the suspect wasn’t Mrs. White.
11. Mrs. White wasn’t the suspect during the game where the revolver was used as a weapon, nor was Mrs. White the winner of the game where the candlestick was the weapon.

Last week, Everett and four other male members of his family went on a short skiing trip. They left on Wednesday and hit the slops early Thursday morning. Everett, his brother Norman, his brother John, his son Shane, and his nephew, Scott, would have had a great time if each had not received a minor injury of some sort. Each person received an injury on a different day - Thursday through Monday, to a different part of his body - ankle, elbow, knee, shoulder, or wrist. Each day, the group (which consisted of one or more, depending on whom dropped out due to an injury and did not ski the rest of the ski trip) skied on the same ski run, although they skied on a different run each day.
From the clues, determine on which day they skied a particular ski run, the person who sustained an injury on each day, the part of the body where each injury occurred.
1. The five skiers are John, the person who injured shoulder, the person who injured his ankle, the person who received his injury on Friday, and the person who received his injury the day family members skied Fool’s Fall.
2. It wasn’t on Sunday that a family member received an injury while skiing Lightening Trail.
3. Everett isn’t the one who hurt his elbow, and the one who hurt his elbow did so sometime earlier during their skiing vacation than did Scott.
4. Shane isn’t the one who banged up his knee on Saturday.
5. On three consecutive days, in order, Norman received an injury, the skiing sloop was Zigzag Chute, and one person injured his elbow.
6. The person who received an injury while skiing on Devil’s Run did so the day just before the person who injured his wrist.
7. John wasn’t among those who skied the day Shane received his injury as he was nursing his own injury in the warmth of the ski lodge.
8. Of the family members, only one tackled Donovan’s Drop, and that was not the family member who ended up injuring his shoulder.

Last week Stefano went to visit his Aunt Agatha. One evening Stefano’s aunt had plans to play Bridge with some friends, so Stefano wandered downtown to the local pool hall to have a cold beer and play a bit of pool with some of the regulars (one of whom is Mr. Clayton). All in all, he played a total of six games throughout the evening. Each of his six opponents, including Mike, selected one of four different pool games to play - 8-ball, 9-ball, bank pool, or one pocket. Stefano really enjoyed himself, even though he lost three of the six games played!
From the clues, determine the order in which Stefano and each of his opponents played, the type of pool game each participated in, and whether Stefano won or lost that game.
1. Out of the six game, two games of 8-ball were played, but not consecutively, and two games of 9-ball were played, but not consecutively.
2. Mr. Sharpe was Stefano’s opponent immediately following the game in which Stefano won at a game of 8-ball by running the table!
3. Scott’s surname is neither Bronson nor Fendell.
4. Mr. Kinsley and Stefano played a game sometime after - but not immediately after - Stefano won a game of 8-ball, and sometime before - but not immediately before, he and Scott played a game.
5. Three games that Stefano played consecutively, in order, were the game he played against Grant, the game of 8-ball he lost by a mere two balls, and the game he played against Mr. Bronson.
6. Stefano lost two consecutive games - one to Tony and one to Mr. Sharpe.
7. Amos was Stefano’s opponent sometime before - but not immediately before - he lost the game of bank pool, which was sometime before - but not immediately before - he played Mr. Bronson.
8. Amos (who isn’t Mr. Sharpe) isn’t either of the two players who called 8-ball as the game to play.
9. Stefano didn’t win the pool game he played against Mr. Saunders.
10. Stefano was surprised when he won at the game called one pocket as he had never played that particular game of pool before; this was either immediately before or immediately after he defeated Glenn at a game.
