Recently, five of the six Clue suspects - Col. Mustard, Miss Scarlet, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock, and Mrs. White - started looking for someone to pet-sit for his or her pet while each was away on vacation in Australia. Finally, Dr. Gray, Inspector Black, Lady Melon, Mrs. Bluebell, and Sir Sable each agreed to pet-sit for one of the suspect's pet. No two suspects have the same breed of cat, two of which are male cats - Brutus and Papa, and three of which are female cats - Bridget, Missy, and Phoebe. By coincidence, each suspect owns a cat of the same gender as his or her self. From the clues, determine the breed (one is a Persian) and name of each suspect's cat and the friend who agreed to pet-sit for each suspect.
1. Neither Inspector Black nor Sir Sable is the person who agreed to pet-sit for the cat named Brutus.
2. Two of the Australian-bound vacationers are the person who will depart on October 5th (whose destination will be either Adelaide or Sydney) and the person who will be in Australia for a total of exactly 13 days.
3. Col. Mustard, who plans to vacation for a longer period of time than the suspect who departs on October 7th, will leave the day immediately before the suspect who intends to spend his or her vacation in Brisbane.
4. The woman who plans to depart for Australia on October 8th, who does not have a cat named either Bridget or Missy, is not the suspect who owns the Maine Coon cat or the Russian Blue cat.
5. Dr. Gray is not the person who agreed to pet-sit for the suspect who plans to spend his or her vacation in Perth.
6. Neither Mrs. Bluebell nor Sir Sable is the person who agreed to pet-sit for the suspect who owns the Tonkinese cat
7. Brutus is neither the Russian Blue nor the cat owned by the suspect who plans to depart on vacation on October 6th.

The five Clue suspects who needed to find a pet sitter for his or her cat plan to depart on vacation in October. Each plan to depart on a different day (5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, or 11th) and each plan to be gone a different number of days (7, 8, 9, 11, or 13). Australia will be the destination of each suspect, and each plans to spend his or her vacation in a different Australian city - Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, or Sydney. From the clues, can you determine the city where each suspect will spend his or her vacation, the date of each suspect's departure, and the number of days each plan to be away?
1. Two suspects who will be departing on consecutive days of the month are the two whose destinations are Adelaide and Melbourne, in some order. One of these two suspects is Miss Scarlet (who does not leave on October 7th) and the other suspect is the person who plans to be away exactly eight days.
2. The three female suspects are the one whose cat will be left in the good hands of Dr. Gray, the one who plans to be away for exactly 11 days, and the one who owns the Tonkinese cat.
3. The cat named Papa is not the Russian Blue, nor is he the cat owned by the suspect who plans to vacation in Brisbane.
4. Mrs. Bluebell (who is not the person who will pet-sit for the suspect who plans to vacation exactly seven days) will not pet-sit for the suspect who will vacationing in Melbourne or for the suspect who owns the Korat cat.
5. Mrs. Peacock, who plans to leave sometime later in the month than Mrs. White, plans to be away for exactly two days longer than the suspect who will be spending her vacation in Sydney, who is not planning on departing on October 11th.
6. Missy's owner is not the woman who will vacation in Australia a total of exactly nine days.
7. The suspect who looks forward to vacationing in Perth during his or her vacation (who is not Mr. Green) plans to depart exactly three days after another suspect, but that suspect is not Miss Scarlet.

LENGTH OF VACATION |
Everett Kaser and his family spend last week at the Mind Bend Resort. The party included his wife, Sharon, daughter Megan, son Shane, sister Donna, and Donna's husband, Jerry. On each day, Monday through Saturday, the family participated in a different activity. Each evening, after supper, the family all got together to play cards, and they played a different game each night - Canasta, Hearts, Oh Pshaw, Pitch, Slap Jack, or Whist.
All in all they had a great time, but the week was not without mishaps. Each day a different family member received a minor injury of some type - one individual developed a huge blister on his or her foot! From the clues, determine the events of each day for the Kaser family, as well as which family member experienced a mishap on each day.
1. The Kasers went horseback riding the day immediately before Megan had her mishap, which was the day immediately before one of family members got stung by a bee.
2. Hiking was on the agenda the day immediately before they spent the evening playing canasta. Sharon, who wasn't the one who had a bit of bad luck the day they played canasta, isn't the family member who had his or her mishap the day they played miniature golf.
3. The day the family panned for gold (and unfortunately didn't find any!) was the day immediately following the day of Jerry's mishap, which was the day immediately following the day that one of the family members ended up with a sunburn.
4. Slap Jack was the name of the card game played sometime later in the week than the day they all participated in lawn bowling.
5. One family member ended up with a sprained wrist, but not on the day that they played Oh Pshaw in the evening.
6. Everett's day of woe came on Thursday. He was just glad it was not on Monday (which was not the day they played ten-point pitch in the evening) as it would have more or less ruined the rest of the week for him.
7. The day Oh Pshaw was the card game selected to play was the day immediately following the day that one individual skinned up his or her elbow, and the day immediately before they played miniature golf during the afternoon.
8. Whist was not the card game played on the day the family went canoeing nor did they play it the day that Donna had her mishap (which wasn't on Saturday).
9. Shane had his mishap the day immediately before they family went canoeing, which was the day immediately before one of the family members broke his or her big toe.
