A member of the chat room and mgmail online community of myasthenics, Kate, sparked an outpouring of support which resulted in a marvelous quilt which is pictured below.  Kate has both multiple sclerosis (MS) and myasthenia gravis (MG).  The quilt was presented to Kate in the fall of 2000.  Photographs are shown below (courtesy of Bette).
