FLASH: The Maryland Senior Olympics have
just FALL/WINTER/SPRING 2007/2008 SCHEDULE Looking for a Maryland senior
volleyball experience? Drop-in volleyball for seniors (both men and women) will be
held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, beginning on September 5, 2007 and continuing
until mid-June 2008. It will be at the Bauer
Drive Community Center. There is no formal age requirement but
participation is formally listed for "Seniors"
by the Community Centers. If in doubt, please feel to E-Mail with any questions. These drop-in volleyball sessions are available at the Bauer Drive Community Center, 14625 Bauer Drive (near Rt. 28, aka Norbeck Road), Rockville, Maryland 20853. Telephone 301-468-4015. These drop-in sessions are open to all 55 years and older.. All skill levels are welcome. Exercise and improving volleyball skills are major goals for these sessions. Sessions are year round with the exception of some holidays. These sessions are sponsored by the Bauer Drive Community Center. A yearly center useage fee applies ($15) which also includes use of the Weight Room on specified days/times. Directions

NET HEIGHT (for Seniors, men and women) Net height for mens 50-54 age is 7' 11 5/8". Men’s 55+ age is 7' 9 5/8".Net height for mens 70+ age os 7' 6" (changed in 2006-2007) Net height for women 60+ age is 7' (changed in 2006-2007) Net height for mixed play will be at mens height in each respective age division.
