Ivan and Monica Rae have taught the Sierra Hillbillies' beginners' Modern Western Square Dance Classes in Santa Clarita, CA, for seven years. Their last class graduated in September, 2002, at which time they decided they needed a break. They resigned as teachers for the beginning class, but are still asked to fill in when the current teacher, Bob Van West, is unavailable.
