Dance Spirit Workshops Every Month in Falmouth, MA
"Thru dance our Vision for the Earth becomes alive... The spirit calls it and the body manifests it, opening mysteries thru the heart and showing the way..."

In these workshops we ask that participants come with a heart
intention and a "significant " object such as a photo, crystal,
something from nature, something of deep personal significance.
We begin in a circle and speak our intentions and offer our objects
to the center of the circle. There are some "warm-up activities"
including some vocalization we call "toning". Then in groups and
individually we dance to discover the ways in which spirit will open new doorways for our intention.
We conclude with the circle and quiet meditation.
(Please email if you are coming from out of town so you can get detailed info. If you need accommodations we can give some good tips.)

The Dance Sources Project is now setting up a series of celebrations, workshops and performances on the theme of dance as spiritual practice in a number of locations for the coming seasons. If you would like info so you can attend, read on...
We are also looking for people who want to become involved as participants, or as interested contributors to the project using the net as a open forum. If you want to be a part of the festival shaping process please contact us at the Dance Vision Festival.
We believe that in cyberspace we can imagine.We can literally see the space where we meet to dance, we can share music, ideas, text, pictures, videos, dancenotes, and animations. We can schedule events and plan details. We can get the most out of resources and reach more people. The internet is a great tool for dancers---let's use it!
We have held festivals in New York City and Cape Cod. (To see a who's who of a recent festival click here.) Our festivals are the beginning of an ongoing network of dance-spirit events based in local communities such as yours with a pool of special guests to choose from!
