Altar Servers Parish Office StJoseph@prodigy.net Boys and girls who have received their First Eucharist assist Father during the Liturgies.
Baptismal Preparation Parish Office StJoseph@prodigy.net Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Make contact with the Parish Office, even as early as the beginning of pregnancy, to schedule attendance at the preparatory class.
Bereavement Ministry Parish Office StJoseph@prodigy.net If a parish member's relative has died, a member of the committee is assigned to talk to the parishioner. The committee also has a memorial mass every year for the deceased relatives of our parishioners.
Buildings & Grounds Parish Office StJoseph@prodigy.net Maintenance of the buildings and grounds.
Bulletin Advertising Maryann Schaeffer   Coordinates ad renewals and finds new sponsors when space becomes available. Then completes ad layout with the printer. Bulletin Advertising makes our bulletin and several other ministries at St. Joseph's possible.
Children's Liturgy Teresa Norton   Takes place during the 10:30 Sunday Liturgy, October through May, excluding holiday weekends. All children 4 - 8 are welcome, no registration required.
Coffee Hour Debbie Griffith   The coffee hour is held the first Sunday of the month after the 8:30 AM Liturgy. It is an extension of the social aspects of the parish community and gives parishioners an opportunity to meet and talk with other members of their Church. Volunteers set up Holy Family Hall, pick up the donuts, or clean up when coffee hour is over.
Eucharistic Ministers Joe Masi   Eucharistic Ministers minister by sharing the Eucharist, the body and blood of Christ. Their ministry enables members of the community to receive the Eucharist under both species in a timely and reverent manner.
Eucharistic Ministers/Lectors Schedule Lori DeSieno ldesieno04@yahoo.com Schedules ministers for Liturgies at the church. In charge of publishing and distributing ministry schedules. All ministers requiring special scheduling needs should contact this committee a minimum of three weeks before the publication of the new schedule.

Provides Religious Education instruction during the school year for Grades 1 through 11.
Finance Committee Fred Pepper   Currently meetings are scheduled on a Quarterly basis, subject to the call of Father Peter Russo. Meetings are announced in the Sunday church bulletin. Revenues and expenditures are reviewed. Variances are analyzed.
Greeting Ministry Kay Gilette   The Greeting Ministry has people at the main entrance to the church, welcoming parishioners and visitors to the weekend liturgies.
Handy Man/Woman     Individual willing to do odd jobs around the parish grounds.
Hospitality Claudia Gregoire Avila@localnet.com A team of parishioners who provide hospitality and outreach to parishioners.
Lectors Pat Walsh FaithForm@prodigy.net Lectors do the First and Second readings at weekend and Holy Day Liturgies.
Marriage Preparation Joe and Sue Masi   Married couples in our parish are paired with engaged couples and they get together for five session to discuss the many aspects of marriage.
Ministry to Homebound John Crane   Visiting our Homebound parishioners to share the Eucharist and companionship.
Music Ministry Linda Jones LINDAJ728@aol.com The music ministry leads the congregation at a Sunday liturgy, for Christmas, Easter, and other special events during the church year. Rehearsals are held on Sunday mornings with some extra rehearsals on a Thursday evening.

Pastoral Council Parish Office StJoseph@prodigy.net The Pastoral Council is an advisory group and "Sounding Board" for Father and the parish. The group meets on the first Tuesday of the month.
Prayer and Worship Terry Smith   A combination of several committees that, as a whole, help with our spiritual life. The sub committees include, Eucharistic Ministers, Greeters, Hospitality, Liturgical Ministers, Social Concerns, Ushers, and Youth Involvement. There is also a Core group, that works to keep all coordinated.
Prayer Line Jackie Shartrand   These people serve others spiritually by remembering them in prayer.
Prison Ministry Al & Pat Johnson   The Prison Ministry assists in liturgies and plans weekend retreats for inmates. Events involve witness talks with inmate participation, songs, and sharing. Follow-ups include returning for Mass to check up on inmates' progress and to promote the Spirit. Ministry members are in teams serving five prisons. Members work on two retreat programs a year.
Quilters Bunny Zawilinski   We meet Wednesday's from 9-12 and work on banners for the church, a large quilt to raffle, and smaller quilts for a Christ Child baby shower for needy mothers.
RCIA Dan Stec   We meet Sunday mornings (October through April) with those who wish to join the Catholic Church. Catholics who are not instructed in the faith and have not received all the sacraments of initiation are welcome to join us.
Right to Life Team     Individuals who work on parish activities to support life issues.
Rosary Altar Society Naomi Pelletier   The Rosary-Altar Society is the ladies group of the church devoted to the Blessed Virgin. Meetings take place on the first Monday of the month, except July and August. Members take care of the altar, hold bake sales, and put on dinners and card parties.
Sacristan     This individual would be trained to set up before Mass all items needed for weekend liturgies and funerals.
Social Concerns Mary Moran Raymond   The Social Concerns Committee meets monthly. We are a Christian action group attempting to meet various needs to the under-served in our regional community. We work with SICM providing lunches to children in the summer. Bethesda House guests are recipients of sandwiches on a monthly basis. Other ongoing services include the Helping Hands Craft Sale & health care kits for Bethesda House and the sale of Fair Trade coffee the last Sunday of the month.
Tithing Committee     Meets with the pastor about four times a year to discuss distribution of the sacrificial giving tithed by the church.
Ushers     The job of an usher includes passing out the baskets for the offertory collection(s). They also assist parishioners with finding seats when needed (especially during the holiday seasons). Ushers will need to designate two (2) parishioners to bring the gifts to the celebrant (most often, you will be approached with a request by parishioners to bring up the gifts). The usher will ensure the gifts are ready before the mass begins. Ushers will make themselves available before mass begins to answer any questions and assist parishioners with special needs. On Palm Sunday, ushers will be called upon to hand out the palms.
Vocations Maryann Schaeffer   This committee promotes vocations so that the church will have priests and religious needed for the future. The Vocation Committee meets quarterly with other parishes in our deanery to share our progress and ideas.

Welcoming Table Joe & Sue Masi   On the first Sunday of every month, the welcoming table is set up and manned in Holy Family Hall to welcome parishioners who wish to join the parish and current members who want to find out what activities are available at St. Joseph's.
