Thank you for expressing an
interest in using Windfall's Risk Rewarded in your breeding program.
Enclosed you will find a copy of his pedigree and our policies
concerning stud services to outside bitches. Before a commitment to
breeding is made please consider the following:
Prior to a breeding agreement
we require from you:

A photocopy of your bitch's AKC registration.
-
A four generation pedigree.
-
A photocopy of your bitch's OFA
hip and elbow certifications, as well as a copy of a current CERF exam.
We generally only breed by
Artificial Insemination. This assures us that our stud dog will not
receive any sexually transmitted diseases. This is for the protection
of our stud and your bitch. Cooled shipped semen is available.
Exceptions will only be made on a case by case basis.

Cooled Shipped Semen: If using
shipped semen, the breeder will be responsible for all costs
associated with collecting and shipping semen. A $200 deposit is
required to cover these costs before breeding. Any excess will be
refunded promptly.

CONDITIONS:
STUD OWNER AGREES TO:
-
Provide bitch owner with a
complete four generation pedigree of stud dog, as well as copies of
all health certifications, including a current CERF exam certification.

Have the stud dog in good
physical condition and have current brucellosis test.
-
Sign litter registration
promptly upon payment in full of the stud fee and return to bitch owner.
-
Provide a return stud service
of the same dog to the same bitch if no pregnancy results from the
mating, at no charge in regards to stud fee. Bitch owner will pay all
costs associated with collecting and shipping chilled semen.

Provide bitch owner with a
written receipt for the stud service.

BITCH OWNER AGREES TO:
-
Abide by the MCOA Code of
Ethics in it's entirety pertaining to this breeding.
-
Pay the agreed stud service fee
of $1,500.00. Stud fee is to be paid before litter registration
papers are signed by stud dog owners.
-
Provide a four generation pedigree.
-
Pay for all vet bills incurred
involving breeding, including, the collection and shipping of fresh
chilled semen.
-
Keep bitch in good health.
-
Notify stud owner no later then
70 days after mating if no pregnancy results from mating.
-
Keep the bitch properly
confined following the breeding to ensure no other dog could mate her
accidentally before mating season is finished.
-
Agrees to not knowingly sell
or transfer puppies whelped as a result of this mating to any person
or firm connected with the business of resale or wholesale of dogs.
OTHER CONDITIONS:
-
The stud dog owners and bitch
owners agree that the bitch owners will pay the stud dog owners a
total stud fee of $1,500.00 if breeding results produce four (4) or
more live puppies. If less than four (4) puppies then the stud fee
will be reduced to a fee of $375.00 per puppy up to a total of four
(4) puppies.

Furthermore, If three (3) or
less puppies result from this mating, a Return Service will be
provided with no stud charge to this same bitch at her next breedable
heat cycle- as defined by the MCOA Code of Ethics, provided all
conditions of this contract have been met.

If the bitch owner does not
choose to use Windfalls Risk Rewarded, the stud dog agreed to in this
contract, at the next breedable heat cycle as defined above, then the
owner of said bitch will forever give up the right to this Return Service.
-
If the Return Service is used,
then the bitch owner will be responsible for all costs associated
with the collection and shipping of chilled semen, but will not owe
any stud fee.

If in the event that Windfalls
Risk Rewarded becomes sterile before the Return Service is provided -
and there is no frozen semen in storage, the bitch owner will release
the stud dog owners of any and all financial obligations pertaining
to this agreement.

The stud owner is not obligated
to sign the litter registration until the stud fee has been paid in
full or possession of pick of the litter has been taken.

If it is agreed that if a pick
puppy is to replace the stud fee the following terms shall apply:

Puppy is to be the stud owners'
choice of puppies in the litter.
-
Puppy is to be chosen at the
age of eight weeks.
-
Puppy is to be maintained in
good health until eight weeks of age at the expense of the bitch
owner. This care is to include puppy shots and worming and any other
care necessary to maintain the puppies' good health and well being.
This care also includes all other care the other puppies of the
litter receive such as, but not limited to, a CERF exam,
microchipping, ect., in the event that the bitch owner offers such
care to the other puppies in the litter, and is included in the
quoted price of the puppies to their potential homes.

Registration papers for the
puppy are to be mailed to the stud owner promptly after receiving them.

Stud owner retains the right to
name the puppy.
-
Litter Registration papers will
be signed at the time the puppy is picked up by the stud owner.
-
Stud owner retains all rights
as to the placement/sale of this pick puppy, but will provide bitch
owner with all personal information required of all other puppy buyers.
-
The bitch owners agree to make
known to the stud dog owners where the pups are placed for the stud
dog owners' purpose of seeing what their stud has produced.
-
The breeder (being the bitch
owner) agrees to be responsible for the offspring of this breeding
and further agrees to take back any puppy from this litter, and place
them or assist MCOA Rescue in placing them if the puppy
purchaser/owners can no longer keep them.

The bitch owners agree not to
knowingly let any puppies resulting from this breeding, be placed in
a shelter/dog pound or pet shop.

I/We the undersigned have
thoroughly read and understand the contents of this agreement, and
acknowledge this to be a binding contract.
