TATER TOUR TO OREGON, WASHINGTON, & ALASKA

APRIL 23^RD – MAY 1^ST 2008

Apr. 23^rd (Wed.):  FLY DAY ONLY TO PORTLAND, OREGON!  Hotel accommodations at the Comfort Suites (503) 261-9000 Continental Breakfast and free shuttle from airport included.  For those flying in early, there is a year round event at the McDonalds, which is located in the same block as our hotel.                

Apr. 24^th:  (Thurs.)  Drive to Salem, Oregon for year round event.  This event passes the Capitol, Williamette University, the Governor’s Mansion, parks, and county courthouse.  Continue back up North to Vancouver, Washington for the Discovery Walks. Hotel accommodations at the host hotel, Hilton Hotel for three glorious nights.  (360) 993-4500 What a great time to meet up with our friends from the Great Northwest and from around the world!  Within walking distance of the Hilton (1 ½  Blocks away) is the Red Lion, where there are two year round events! 

Apr 25^th – 27^th: (Fri. – Sun.) Participate in the Discovery Walks which include some fantastic walks! Please go to www.discoverywalk.org to get brochure and register for the events. NOTE:  We are leaving at noon on Sunday, so you will not be able to register for the swim events. 

Apr. 27^th:  (Sun.) Leave at noon for Olympia, Washington for Capitol Walk.  This walk goes through historic Olympia, boardwalk, a Japanese garden, and the State Capitol Grounds.  Continue onto Kent, Washington (Suburb of Seattle) for hotel. Accommodations at the Best Western By the Green. (253) 854-8767 Continental Breakfast and free airport shuttle included.  (Also a year round event within walking Distance of our hotel.) 

Apr. 28^th:  (Mon.)  Catch a morning flight to Juneau, Alaska!  (Gain 1 hour!)  Arrive early afternoon and from the airport, have a city tour before drop-off to our hotel for 2 nights. Hotel accommodations at the Westmark Baranof Hotel in downtown Juneau.  (1-800-778-5608)   

Apr. 29^th: (Tues.) Participate in the year round event that is located a couple of blocks from the hotel. This walk passes the historic and scenic parts of the city.  After lunch, drive out to Mendenhall Glacier for some sightseeing and then enjoy early dinner at a Salmon Bake.  (Also have other great food available!) 

Apr. 30^th:   (Wed.) Catch an afternoon flight back to Seattle, Washington.  Arrive late afternoon (Lose 1 hour!)  Shuttle back to the same hotel, Best Western By the Green. 

May 1^st:    (Thurs.) FLY DAY ONLY BACK TO OUR HOME DESTINATIONS!  Hope everyone enjoyed this great Tater Tour trip!

The cost of the trip will include:

• Bus Transportation from Portland to Salem and then to Vancouver, Washington.  Also From Vancouver to Olympia to Kent, Washington

• Roundtrip Airline Transportation to Juneau, Alaska ONLY!

• 8 nights of Hotel Accommodations

• Continental Breakfast included in some hotels

• Bus Transportation while in Alaska, including tour of Mendenhall Glacier and City Tour

• Salmon Bake!!

• All Taxes and Tips, including the Bus Driver and Tour Escort
