Smoke And Mirrors
Episode One - "Dark Passage"
Slarrn passenger vessel Light of Truth hijacked by Rebel Agents
affiliated with The Knights Of The Republic. The Rebels succeed
in crashing the ship into Galipor's capital city of Talleria. Orbital sensor
networks place the death toll five minutes after the explosion at approximately
256 million. By morning, that number rises to 342 million with another
26 million people dying of severe radiation poisoning planet-wide. * The
Empire begins humanitarian aid and invokes Emergency Powers for the duration
of the crisis, stepping in to take control of the planet as the entire
ruling council and all members of the royal family were killed in the disaster.
* The Slarrn Corporate pledges its assistance in rebuilding Galipor's infrastructure
and is rewarded by the Empire with control of the planet's remaining corporate
holdings. * Several critics point out that a Passenger Cruiser does not
have sufficient mass and energy, by itself, to create an explosion of the
magnitude that rocked Galipor, but their concerns are drowned out in the
public outcry following the release of a tape of the Rebel atrocity made
by famed underground journalist Jado Bradecast. * Imperial Agent
Naroo
Crax (Missing In Action), who managed to rescue six passengers from
the doomed ship, becomes a galaxy-wide hero. * The Empire announces the
death of an Imperial Officer, Major Cirroc Marrow; another victim
of the Galipor tragedy. * Rebel recruitment plummets for the first time

Protectorates, instead. * "Del Lefton" disappears. * Jado Bradecast,

of complicity in her death. * Kevyn Jo'Mayru and Katryn Corvot

Episode Two- "A

Truth was ejected just prior to the ship's destruction at Galipor--
this irrefutable record of what really transpired on the ship is said to
have fallen into unknown hands. * Jado Bradecast, Oliver Dayne, Lt.
Joseph Valeen, Katryn Corvot, and Kevyn Jo'Mayru arrive on Coruscant
and meet with Emperor Palpatine, who awards Valeen with the

for the others. * A representative of the Slarrn Corporate delivers the
company's distress and regret to the survivors and demonstrates a pronounced
interested in Kevyn Jo'Mayru. * Wrestling Droid X-4X7 [Ex-Fourexseven]

rounds out his strike team with the nearly-psychotic acrobat/mercenary
Droz.

he serves, rejects his oaths of service and assists the Kane-led
rescue attempt. * Lord Darth Vader places Kevyn Jo'Mayro
into his personal custody. * Imperial Agent Conner O'Day is seemingly
killed during Kane's rescue attempt. * Oliver Dayne murders
Alderaanian nobel Drass Movella. * The fugitives cut a swath of
destruction through the Imperial Palace, kidnapping an Imperial Waste Reclamation
Systems clerk, Gerel Tos, and the brother-in-law of Grand-Admiral
Selar, Delk Plinar. * Suspecting a trap, the fugitives reject
the Fassini's escape plan and instead steal the Imperial Training Vessel
Redemption,
in orbit around Coruscant. * During his interrogation,
Baltu Kane
reveals his ties to the mysterious Duren Murelle and then dies suddenly.
* "Precious Leglock" is revealed to be the property of Murelle,
but is then reprogrammed to be loyal to his new comrades. * The Empire
reports the deaths of all the fugitives at the hands of the Sia delegation,
providing the rationale for a full-scale military occupation of the world.
* Knights of the Republic Rebels attack the fuel station at Hilsmot,
killing over 400 civilians.
Episode Three- "Incidents
And Accusations"
Captain Mors Sil takes command of the Imperial Star Destroyer
Eradicator
and is assigned to track down the rogue vessel Redemption. * Conner
O'Day, successfully revived on Coruscant, steals an Imperial shuttle
and sets out to find the Redemption as well. * On the Redemption
itself, sparks fly as personalities clash, suspicions of treachery and
sabotage mount and a dangerous stowaway is discovered: A black, insectile
droid, featuring obviously advanced technology, and pursuing a mysterious
agenda of its own. * Before being destroyed, the droid surgically implants
several devices of unknown function into Joseph Valeen and attempts
to kidnap both him and Katryn Corvot. * After reuniting with O'Day,
the Redemption escapes the Eradicator and, on the advice
of Droz, flees to the depths of the Metiyari Expanse.

caused by the Knights Of The Republic is blamed in part for the
rout.
Episode Four- "The Evocation Of Subtle Terrors"
The bizarre, sudden appearance of Katryn Corvot's protocol droid
C-5JO (See-Fivejaio) aboard the Redemption shocks
the crew. Even more disturbing, however, is the corpse in the sick bay
that appears to be Corvot, herself. Soon afterward, C-5JO and the corpse
both mysteriously vanish. * Mors Sil executes former Imperial Sector
Academy Commandant Sornel Trighe, broadcasting it on an Imperial
Emergency Frequency so that the Redemption is sure to receive it.
* The Redemption is besieged and quickly captured by a raiding party
led by famed bounty hunter Boba Fett, the operation evidently financed
by crime lord Jabba The Hutt. * During interrogation, Oliver
Dayne reveals to Boba Fett that Droz’s destination was
the planet Baleschee * The homing beacon and other devices implanted inside
Joseph
Valeen are surgically removed. * The Redemption leaves for a
rendezvous with Jabba The Hutt in the Beltrax system. * Slave
One arrives with prisoners Oliver Dayne, Joseph Valeen, Katryn Corvot,
and the wreckage of Wrestling Droid X-4X7 [Ex-Fourexseven] ("Precious

father--whom he thought killed on Alderaan--is revealed to be alive and
now a highly placed minister with the decadent House Movella. * "Precious
Leglock" is reassembled, reset to full operational parameters, informed

orders of Baridin Movella, making the droid amazingly dangerous.

droid. * Mors Sil executes Alexander Dayne. * Valeen,
Oliver Dayne and "Precious Leglock" steal an Imperial shuttle
and escape Melsiom. They set a course for Baleschee, in the hopes of finding
their companions before Boba Fett does. * Sian refugees escape the
blockade of their system with Rebel assistance, but their ship is damaged
and they can't travel to the Rebel fleet without stopping first for repairs.
The only world they can reach is Baleschee; they send a scrambled message
to the Rebel agent there (Dray), telling him that they have no choice
and will arrive in 56 hours. * Baleschee’s planetary defense and sensor
network goes off-line mysteriously for fifteen minutes, allowing the Rebel
blockade runner carrying the Sian refugees to land in Baleschee’s ocean.
Imperials forces arrive shortly thereafter, having successfully tracked
the ship to the Baleschee system, but due to Baleschee's sensor "malfunction,"
the Empire has no idea where the ship is hiding in the system.* The Empire
begins a massive search operation in the Baleschee System.
Episode Five- "The Marketplace Of Ideas"
Dray commits suicide after hiding location of the Sian refugees'
ship in Baleschee Hyperwave’s immense, labyrinthine computer network and
