Good: The hair (for once). Probably the best damn hair I've ever drawn! I also like the shading (good contrast).
Bad: Err... it doesn't quite look like Renee, but I can't pinpoint why (see below).
General Comments: I think this picture looks like Kirsten Dunst more than Renee Zellweger, but that's okay. For some reason, I still like it. I'll just tell people that it's not Kirsten Dunst. (Though my note in the upper right corner may be harder to explain.)
I took my mom's copy of the May 2003 In Style cover and drew Renee. We threw that issue out since (actually, we dropped it off at the doctor's office... for someone else to take), so I can't compare this picture to its original. All I remember is that it was not a very flattering picture of her (though I don't think she's all too pretty to begin with): that's exactly why I wanted to draw this. I didn't want to draw someone who looks like... everyone else (e.g. every single Abercrombie and Fitch or Calvin Klein model).
