Who has heard of this story? This is one of the worst things I've ever read.
In 1993, two ten year old "boys" (if you can even put them on the same level as regular humans) abducted a two year old boy from a shopping center. They dragged him away, in tears, to a railroad. They beat him and tortured him in ways I don't have the capacity to write about, then tied him to a railroad track to die.
This story is horrifying. What's worse is that sometime later this year (2001), they're letting the killers go, protected by anonymity.
How anyone can have it in them to do what these boys did is beyond me. I used to be a ten year old, and I knew the difference between right and wrong. The amount of sheer evil and brutality that went into this murder of an innocent two year old is astounding. A two year old! How can anyone bring themselves to torture a little baby!
This story just stroke a raw nerve with me. As everyone who knows me is aware that I am a staunch pro-lifer, stories like this, against innocent children, greatly upset me. Please keep James Bulger and all the other innocent children that have been mercilessly killed in your prayers. Let's hope that violence like this is a thing of the past....
