But tonight, something else vexes me, something which I can articulate more concisely than if I were to try to explore my deep, pathological hatred of automobiles.
It is a quote from an AIM profile, from someone who is (surprisingly) not online right now, but I think that if it were to be restated in a grammatically correct way, it would be this:
"Remember all you lonely people out there: even Stephen Hawking got laid."
I guess what enrages me about this is that all that Stephen Hawking has contributed to physics, all that he has overcome despite his handicap: none of that matters. Your worth is measured by whether or not you have sex, not by your intelligence, charity, or compassion.
Remember that when you go out into the real world. Go ahead and find a cure for cancer, win the Nobel Prize in Physics, invent a more fuel-efficient car, whatever, but if you don’t "get laid," then yer a l00ser!!1!!!
