DAMNED IF I DO (BASS TAB) MARCH 24,1997

Courtesy of Bassist and Bass Techniques Magazine

This is from the intro of "Damned If I Do", starts out sounding like RnB turned up to maximum. But the bass line in the intro, if you play it by itself, gives a clue to what happens laterin the song. About three and a half minutes in, a piano montuno points the way to a change in drum rhythm. The bass patern stays similar to the intro and The Artist plays a guitar workout that Carlos Santana would be proud of over a salsa groove apparantley based on cha-cha-cha-yet another candidate for window rattling, I think. The Artist meets Tito Puente.
