DISCOVER THE POWER OF VIDEO USING MEDIA PLAYER AND POWERPOINT 2000
DESCRIPTION
Discover all the techniques needed for knockout multi-sensory
PowerPoint presentations! You will see how to grab your audience's attention
with music, narration and animated graphics. The class is instructor-led
and is full of hands-on activities. Learn to:
- Add transition effects and set a slide show to run continuously.
- Create animation by assembling an object.
- Transform one image into another, creating a "morphing"
effect.
- Record narration to add to a slide show.
- Create a Custom Soundtrack to accompany a presentation.
LENGTH
One four hour session.
PREREQUISITES
PowerPoint - Introduction or
equivalent knowledge. You must also have a good understanding of basic Microsoft
Windows, file management and personal computers.

NECESSARY SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE
- An IBM or compatible equipped with PowerPoint 97 or higher
or a Mac equipped with PowerPoint 98.
- A sound card, speakers and a microphone.
- A CD-ROM drive.
- Access to some clip art or other image files.
- The Custom Soundtracks add-in - either installed or available
on the PowerPoint 97 or Office 97 CD-ROM. (Note: This feature isn't available
on the Macintosh version.)
