DESCRIPTION FOR
PRODUCE LETTERS, LISTS AND CATALOGS USING ACCESS AND WORD
Master efficient ways to use Access and Word together to
create custom form letters and lists. You will also discover how to create
a catalog for use in print and on an intranet or Internet. The class is
instructor-led with lots of practical exercises. Learn to:
- Create a group of form letters in Word using information
from an Access database.
- Use various techniques in Word and in Access to sort
and select specific records to merge.
- Create quick lists of Access data in Word documents.
- Create a catalog in Word using data from an Access database
and see how to prepare it for use on the Internet or an intranet.
LENGTH
One four hour session.
PREREQUISITES
Introductory knowledge of Word (Word - Level 1)
and intermediate knowledge of Access (Access - Level 2). You also
must have a good understanding of basic Microsoft Windows, file management
and personal computers.

NECESSARY SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE
- You will need Windows 95 or Windows 98 plus Access 97
or higher, Word 97 or higher, and Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer.
- A printer (optional).
