IN SEARCH OF SIMON THOMAS STREET'S, CA 1770, GRAVE
The headstone of Samuel Street (Simon Thomas Street) stands between Ralph Wiseman and Bill Greer. Samuel's wife, Elizabeth is to his right as you face the picture, marked only with an uninscribed headstone. The headstone of Samuel's son, William C. Street, inscribed with only "W.C. Street" is also visible immediately to the left of the tree in the lower left hand corner of the picture. These graves are located in the Old Street Cemetery (abandoned) off State Highway 226, adjacent to Big Rock and Beech Creeks near Buladean, North Carolina.
