Place to Relax: Harrison Lake, B.C.

This
gem just across the Canadian border will instantly put you in
a relaxed mood. Maybe it's the pristine lake, or the snow-capped
mountains, or the hot springs (monopolized by the local resort),
or simply the isolation. Whatever it is, you'll never want to
leave! The small nearby town of Harrison Hot Springs is never
crowded, easy to navigate (with only 2 main streets), and has
all the required necessities (beer & food!). It also hosts
a major sand castle competition every fall, which is always interesting.
There's also a number of nice Bed & Breakfasts that line
the eastern shore of the lake, so you won't feel homesick at
all!
