Urban Park: Stanley Park, Vancouver B.C.

View
of North Vancouver, 1996
Nestled
on a small peninsula in downtown Vancouver, this gem is a city
dweller's and tourist's ideal place to get away from the crowded
streets of the city. The Seawall Walk takes you around the perimeter
of the park and offers incredible ocean views, along with views
of the surrounding mountains and downtown. With a divided path,
the walk is both pedestrian & biker/roller blader accessible.
It's also a great place to catch one of those mesmerizing ocean
sunsets! If the ocean isn't your thing, then take a hike along
one of the many paths through the interior of the park, There's
many beautiful gardens and lagoons to admire along the way. In
addition, there's usually some kind of event going on that you
can join in!
