Toyminator's 2001-2002 Players to Watch Players who are on the rise, critical to their team's success, or simply fun to watch! David West, Xavier Great interior scorer and ruthless on the boards, even though he's an undersized center!  Brett Nelson, Florida Quick, talented & cocky farm boy (ala Jason Williams) who is the perfect fit for Florida's system!  Brian Cook, Illinois Has all the tools to be the most versatile big man in the country this season! Roger Mason Jr., Virginia Quickly developing into a big time scorer on the wing, who can also handle the point. Darius Songaila, Wake Forest Quick footwork and soft touch make him tough to defend down low! Caron Butler, UConn Strong, athletic wing player who is a consistent outside jumper away from stardom! Jon Linehan, Providence Short, but feisty floor leader who causes havoc for opposing point guards!  T.J. Ford, Texas Only a freshman, but I haven't seen anyone quicker with the ball than a guy named Iverson!  Keith Bogans, Kentucky Explosive, big guard who's scoring ability is unquestioned. Now just needs to play some D!  Robert Archibald, Ilinois Throwback center with good size, strength & touch. Will be key to Illini's success this season.  Darius Rice, Miami Fl Big, talented wing with unlimited range. Should have a breakout season!  Kelly Wise, Memphis Quietly blocks shots, rebounds & scores in Marcus Camby-like fashion!
