Meet the Vicar

The Rev. A. Dickerson Salmon, Jr. 

The Rev. A.D. Salmon, Jr., has been the vicar of St. Luke's Epicopal Church in Woodville, New Hampshire, since March, 1998. Father Salmon is a native of New Jersey and is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster, PA, and Seabury Western Theological Seminary, Evanston, IL.

His early ministry was spent in the Diocese of Central New York and at Grace Episcopal Church in Brunswick, MD. In 1970, he accepted a call to All Saints Episcopal Church in Frederick, MD, where he spent the next twenty-three years of his ministry.

After his retirement in late 1992, he and his wife, Jeannine, moved to Haverhill Corner, New Hampshire, where they spent most of their time renovating their home, doing volunteer work, and traveling extensively. In 1998, Father Salmon was called to be the part-time Vicar at St. Luke's.

Dick and Jeannine have been married for 42 years and have four children: Michael of Buffalo, NY, Abe and John of Frederick, MD, and Mary of Jacksonville, FL. In addition, they have three grandchildren: Katie, Logan, and David.
