Speaking of trouble - when our poor ancient computer passed along into its little electronic heaven, it took with it some of our work that we hadn't backed up. Yes, that's my fault. Yes, Tira forgives me, which I reluctantly admit is going some, since her two new fanfics are among the dust-biters. And yes, I'm still trying to recover what I can - we haven't gotten rid of the old thing, and I still work on it when I can. But hell, the shoe fiasco was hers, so she can't (and doesn't) pin all of the blame on me. Meantime, she's writing a new M/K fic, which she now backs up about twenty seconds...

Incidentally, we're working our way through our email from the past couple of months, but please know that if you wrote to us and we didn't get back to you, it wasn't a snub or anything. We've been unable to access or manage much of anything even remotely internet-based for some time. We'd gotten to Step 9 of my brother's homemade 12-step program for computer withdrawal before we could afford Cookie, and email-deprivation in our home is not a pretty thing.
