Hope this page is of use to many, and help those who are researching the same family names. I have added some links to other interesting pages, that are very useful, along with links to some of my other pages.

Below are links to other helpful sites, which helped me along the way. The third link contain links to other pages I have created. Bare with me for all the mistakes I may have made. This is an on going project, which is a long way from being completed. I only have basic information so far, such as names, dates and some places. I have not tackled the hard stuff yet, such as slave documents, land deeds and plantation where-abouts. If anyone find any information that needs corrected, please email me to let me know.

Photo of Mr. Enoch Benjamin, Sr., born April 7, 1906, in Oak Hill, Alabama, died September 19, 1984, in Prichard, Alabama. The family names that he is a descendent of, are; Benjamin, McReynolds and Johnson, that I know of so far. There is no end to the surnames that he is related to. Some of those names are; Calhoun, Ramsey, Grace, Goode, Harris, McConnico, McBride, Stallworth, Brown, Singleton, Dale, Owens, Hudson, Robertson, Jenkins, McCrackin, Newberry, Nicholson, Steen, Smith, Thompson, Thomas and Williams, just to name a few. I am doing family research on all of these names. The information I am searching for is, birth, marriage, death, cemetery, obituaries and land deeds, associated with these names. It would be in connection to Wilcox and Mobile Counties of Alabama. Some may be in Clarke and Choctow Counties of Alabama. Many other surnames are in connection as well. Along with other records I am searching for would be slave and plantation information. These names are mostly African Americans. I have some census and marriage information, along with some cemetery information. These names would date back to early 1800s, with some of the names, being slaves, coming from Virginia and Georgia. Any and all help would be most appreciated. Thank you,
Debbie Benjamin-Wright
