"Uncle Boe" Clarence Singleton

My grandmother's oldest brother, born July 5, 1900 - died October 1984

Uncle Boe was Ada Harper's oldest son, and he married Carnelia Todd, who is also related to me, on my mother's side of the family.

His parents, Frank Singleton, Sr., and Ada Thompson-Harper, were married March 13, 1907, after he was born, but they did get married. Clarence, "Uncle Boe", is buried in Plateau Cemetery, in Magazine Point, Alabama.

His sister, Mattie Lucille Singleton-Benjamin, is my grandmother. She was his mother's baby, but their father later married Katie Freeman, December 31, 1913, and started another family. His mother Ada, had two other children from a previous marriage, with the last name Harper. I do not know for sure, but I think one of them was Winston Harper. She had five children with Frank Singleton, Sr, including Frank, Jr.
