A gift from a FRIEND this year. Falchion's 1/6 scale IRIA....It was purchased already built and painted by someone and my FRIEND took it apart and removed most of the paint.....So I had some work ahead of me. I will have some NEW pics of her very soon! as I am almost done with her.
I first saw this kit in a Fine Scale Model mag a few years ago and fell in love with her face and the kits over all pose.
Though I have never seen the movie or any of the comic books I am very interested so far!
This is my first ( REAL ) serious RESIN figure kit and so far I love thes kind of kits! Since I have started Iria I have purchased a few others like the 1/4 scale ROCKETEER from SCREAMIN MODELS which is next! and the AWESOME and very SEXY 1/4 scale Commandant Lee....rrrrrrrrr!

I used the Areofax book to hand scribe as many of the REAL panel lines as I could. This took some time.

Iria's hair was the most damaged part so I sculpted a whole new hair design with the help of my Darling Wife. It turned out ok...not bad for my first attempt at that kind of thing...I think? I will probably mix some blue with black paint and use some highlights when dry brushing.

The AVIONICS, communications and cabin heater section. I planned on installing some soundproofing in front of the cabin heater section. Very few combat Hooks in Nam used heaters.
