Ellouise Padilla, from Santo Domingo Pueblo, along with her father, Don Crespin and her husband John Padilla make her beautifully designed jewelry. Ellouise makes her jewelry under the trademark Sunrise Jewelers. This magnificent set was custom made for Outdoorsy Girl. This is a large piece and very showy. Of the highest quality heishi and inlay work. All pieces are perfectly matched. We are selling this as a set only.

Santo Domingo Earrings

Ellouise Padilla heavy sterling pendant inlaid with apple coral and turquoise measures: 1 in. top, 1.5 in. bottom and 1 and 3/4 inches long not including the bail. The hand made Heishi 3 strand necklace measures 18 inches not including the clasp. The earrings measure 1 inch long by 1/2 in wide. They have a good push back post. All pieces are hallmarked. I purchased this traditional shell pendant from the artist who was showing at the prestigious Santa Fe Indian Market.

Beautifully inlaid natural turquoise, serpentine, mother of pearl and silver
on natural orange spiny oyster shell. Not signed as artists do not sign their art on shells. Artist's card included.
Measures 2 inches long not including bail. Bail is fairly wide and would accommodate a heishi necklace. We have a couple of them below.

These necklaces are painstakingly made, bead by bead by James and Doris Coriz. The beads are finished, measured, inspected and then strung to make these perfectly beautiful Native American necklaces. I can provide a certificate of origin and authenticity if requested.

I purchased these one of a kind necklaces directly from the artists. James and Doris are noted for their very small diameter turquoise heishi beads. Standing next to me buying was a buyer from the Ahwahnee Hotel shop in Yosemite and a buyer from a prestigious Scottsdale boutique. They, undoubtedly, will be charging more for these pieces than we do. ~Liz

This is a very elegant necklace that drapes on the neck beautifully. The necklace and sterling fittings measure 22 inches. In addition, there is a sterling chain extender measuring about 3 inches. All strands are equal length. An amazing necklace with beautifully matched hand made beads.

Turquoise Two Strand Traditional Heishi Necklace, Coral and Shell Accents with Sterling Hook Clasp

This necklace is a traditional beauty. I have seen both men and women wear these. The turquoise in this necklace is very bring and clear. Each bead was painstakingly made, bead by bead by James and Doris Coriz. There are two strands of graduated turquoise with the largest beads measuring about 1/4 inch.  The necklace is accented with shell and with beautiful red coral. The full necklace including clasp and added loops at the bottom will hang 17 inches in length (measuring just one side). Gorgeous one of a kind authentic Santo Domingo necklace. There are three strands of tiny brown shell beads (hand made) strung with a variety of chunky stones and chips including shell, turquoise, coral and other colorful stones.
