Exquisite Zuni
Made
Natural Stone and
Sterling Silver Jewelry
Just in!
Another bracelet and pendant.
I was pleased to attend the
Gallup Intertribal Ceremonial and the world renowned
Santa Fe Indian
Market. Nancy and Rudy (Ruddell) Laconsello are well known artists. They
achieved the honor of exhibiting at the
Santa Fe Indian Market. It was
there that I took this photo. I purchased their art right from their
home pueblo of Zuni. The bracelets, pins and pendants are available now right here at Outdoorsy Girl. ~Liz

Inlaid Sterling Rainbow Man with Corn
Pin/Pendant

The beautiful sterling
pin/pendant was carefully hand inlaid by the Laconsellos. It measures
1 3/4" diameter. Please note that reflections in the picture are
just reflections. The piece is perfect.
The rainbow man is a
symbol of rain and, hence, life for the Zuni farmer. Rainbow man is
also a guardian, and here is guarding the corn plant, another symbol
of life. Rudy and Nancy have used a number of semi-precious stones
for the rainbow man, including turquoise, jet and spiny oyster.
There is a silver loop at the top, back of the piece so it can be
hung from a chain and worn as a pendant. Additionally, a pin with
safety catch is across the back, so it can be worn as a pin.
