Dead Pawn
Indian Jewelry
During my travels to Trading Posts, I often come across some "Dead Pawn" (meaning the owner did not make the payments on the item) jewelry. I don't know the age of these pieces but do know that the Trading Posts I purchase from are reputable dealers. Check back as I will add to this page as I find things.

Dead Pawn Long Turquoise Nugget Necklace

Dead Pawn Indian Jewelry

This is an extremely long, 30 inches, necklace of turquoise nuggets with nice matrix. Most nuggets measure 1/2 inch across. The necklace does not have a clasp but is finished in the traditional way with shell beads. Shell beads are also used as spacers. Navajo made. Sold as is.

Price: $90

Dead Pawn Turquoise and Sterling Cuff Bracelet

Dead Pawn Indian Jewelry
Front

Side 1

Side 2

This is a beautiful cuff bracelet of 28 turquoise stones with nice matrix. Most are matched. Some vary.  The bracelet measures a little over 1 inch wide. It is 6 and 3/4 inches around with an opening of 1 inch for 7 and 3/4 inches. It is fairly soft sterling but you really shouldn't bend bracelets of this kind too much. Inside it is stamped Sterling with a M mark for the artist. Beautiful stamp work. Navajo made. Sold as is. Let me know if you need the weight.

Price: $190
