Intricately Inlaid Zuni
Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet
by Sammy and Esther Guardian

I purchased this beautiful bracelet at the Pueblo of Zuni. It depicts the blue jay, tulips flowers and daisies among the designs. The artists are known for the excellent inlay work. This is an amazing piece with stamp work and inlay. There is natural turquoise, mother of pearl and other natural stones. The bracelet measures a little over 5.5 inches. The opening is 1.5 inches. It would fit a medium to large wrist. The bracelet is heavy silver and measures 1.5 inches at the widest point. The band measures 1 and 1/8 inches wide.

Please forgive the reflection from the camera! It's especially noticeable on the front part of the bracelet in this picture where the beautiful Blue Jay is inlaid.

You cannot bend this type of bracelet to fit due to the inlay work.

Weight of bracelet is 42.8 grams on my scale.

The piece is engraved on the back "S & E Guardian" Zuni.

Certificate of Origin available on request.

Edaakie Pieces

Exquisite Museum Quality Hummingbird Cuff Bracelet
by Dennis and Nancy Edaakie of
Zuni Pueblo

I purchased this exquisite Edaakie bracelet at the Pueblo of Zuni. The artists are known for excellent inlay work. Dennis Edaakie is among the most famous of the Zuni jewelers. Nancy is his wife and is also a top Zuni artist. The back of this piece is marked Dennis Nancy Edaakie. The sterling silver and stones are cut by hand and the inlay painstakingly done. Dennis was born in 1931 and it is my understanding that he and his wife are not able to produce very many pieces of jewelry at this point. This bracelet is truly a collectors item and is very showy.

There is natural turquoise, mother of pearl, jet and spiny oyster. This bracelet is unusually large measuring close to 1 and 3/4 inches at the widest point. The width is a little over 1 and 1/4 at the back. The bracelet measures 6 inches around with a 1 and 1/8 in. opening for 7 and 1/8 inches total.

The bracelet weighs 68.5 grams on my scales. It is a fine heavy Sterling  piece.

Certificate of Origin available on request.

One of a kind. I won't be discounting this due to the quality and the rarity of Edaakie pieces at this time.

Here's another beautiful Edaakie piece. It is a scaled down version of the showpiece pictured before. It is stamped Dennis Nancy Edaakie.

There is natural turquoise, mother of pearl, jet and red coral. The shell just glimmers in the light. This bracelet is nice and heavy and measures close to 1 and 1/8 inches at the widest point. The width is a little over 7/8 in. at the back. The bracelet measures 6 inches around with a 1 in. opening for 7 inches total.

The bracelet weighs 51.5 grams on my scales. It is a fine heavy Sterling  piece and is highly collectible.
