Arizona Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers is the largest
professional association of social workers in Arizona.
The Chapter is dedicated to promoting the quality and
effectiveness of social work practice in a state rich with diversity. Wherever

Arizona State University Graduate School of Social
Work
The purpose of the School of Social
Work is to prepare professional social work practitioners who are committed to
the enhancement of individual, family and group problem-solving capacities, and
the creation of a more nurturing, just, and humane social environment. The
School of Social Work trains professional social workers for beginning-level
generalist practice (BSW) and for advanced direct practice and planning,
administrative, and community practice (MSW). The focus is on populations of the
Southwest and those who are most oppressed and most in need of the services
social workers have to offer.

This site is the state of Arizona's doorway to thousands of health, human
service and emergency response resources. Developed in partnership with

Arizona Child Abuse
Information Center
The InfoCenter acts as a clearinghouse for
information, consultations, and training opportunities for professionals dealing
with child abuse issues throughout Arizona including the unique issues of
children with disabilities and special health care needs.
Arizona Health Care Cost
Containment System (AHCCCS) or Arizona Medicaid
Their mission is to provide comprehensive, quality
health care to those in need. This site provides eligibility information as well
as directions on how to apply.
Arizona Long
Term Care System (ALTCS) or Arizona Medicaid for Seniors
The Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS) program is for aged (65 and over),
blind, or disabled individuals who need ongoing services at a nursing facility
level of care. However, program participants do not have to reside in a nursing
home. Many ALTCS participants live in their own homes or an assisted living
facility and receive needed in-home services. ALTCS participants are also
covered for medical care, including doctor's office visits, hospitalization,
prescriptions, lab work, and behavioral health services.

Services (CFHS) is a vital component of the Arizona Department of Health
Services. CFHS provides the essential core functions of public health to
communities and families throughout Arizona.

Social Services of Southern Arizona
A broad range of programs serving Pima, Pinal and
Gila counties, ranging from counseling for individual and family problems,
assistance to immigrants and refugees, shelters for pregnant teenagers and
single women and their infants, nutrition programs and case management for
elderly.

help. The Area Agency serves as the central information and resource center for
finding services and assistance for older adults throughout Maricopa County and
offers many programs to assist people in meeting their needs.
