He married Susan Lane in Pearl, Pike County, IL, March 7, 1872. Susan was born in IN May, 1852. Susan was the daughter of Andrew Lane and Susann Duncan. Susan died December 29, 1929 in Venice, Pike Co., IL, at 77 years of age. Her body was interred December 31, 1929 in Greenpond, Pike County, IL.

Carrie died April 15, 1939 at 66 years of age. She married Charles Jesse Holloway in Venice, Pike Co.,
IL, 1896. Charles was born in Venice, Pike Co., IL April 2, 1872. Charles was the son of John Holloway and
Martha Ellen Battershell. Charles died June 12, 1913 at 41 years of age. (See Charles Jesse
