2. Andrew² Lane (Father of Andrew¹) was born March 21, 1813. Andrew died December 4, 1893 at 80 years of age.

He married Susann Duncan. Susann was born March 15, 1824. Susann was the daughter of Father of Susann Duncan and Mother of Susann Duncan. Susann died May 11, 1906 at 82 years of age.

Andrew Lane and Susann Duncan had the following children:

3 i. Sarah³ Lane was born April 20, 1840.

4 ii. William Lane was born March 29, 1842.

5 iii. Elizabeth Lane was born November 11, 1846. She married Eugene Thurman. (See Eugene Thurman for the continuation of this line.)

6 iv. Rebecca Lane was born January 26, 1850. She married Henry Wells. (See Henry Wells for the continuation of this line.)

7 v. John Lane was born February 3, 1850.

8 vi. Susan Lane was born in IN May, 1852. Susan died December 29, 1929 in Venice, Pike Co., IL, at 77 years of age. Her body was interred December 31, 1929 in Greenpond, Pike County, IL. She married Zacharia Taylor Butler in Pearl, Pike County, IL, March 7, 1872. Zacharia was born in Martinsburg Twp., Pike Co., IL May 3, 1847. Zacharia was the son of William Andrew Butler Jr. and Harriet Chandler. Zacharia died January 10, 1927 in Venice, Pike Co., IL, at 79 years of age. His body was interred January 12, 1927 in Greenpond, Pike County, IL. (See Zacharia Taylor Butler for the continuation of this line.)

9 vii. James Conway Lane was born October 3, 1858.

10 viii. Vireta Lane was born June 27, 1862.

11 ix. Samuel James Lane was born February 8, 1866.
