He married Orilla Roberts in Venice, Pike Co., IL, 1898. Orilla was born in Venice, Pike Co., IL 29 September 1868. Orilla was the daughter of Lafayette Roberts and Nancy Catherine Galloway. Orilla died 17 April 1904 in Venice, Pike Co., IL, at 35 years of age. Her body was interred 19 April 1904 in Venice, Pike Co., IL.
