6. Edward² Briscoe (Ira¹) was born in Danville, Boyle Co., KY Feb 10, 1829. Edward died Jun 12, 1882 in Venice, Pike Co., IL, at 53 years of age.

He married Mariah H. Ferguson in Venice, Pike Co., IL, Aug 29, 1850.

Edward Briscoe and Mariah H. Ferguson had the following children:

18 ii. Ira Briscoe was born 1856. Ira died Jan 12, 1921 in White Hall Twp, Greene Co., IL, at 64 years of age.

19 iii. Jeremiah Briscoe was born 1858.

20 iv. Daniel Briscoe was born 1860.

21 v. Isaiah Briscoe was born 1861.

+ 22 vi. Charles E. Briscoe was born Apr 10, 1866.

23 vii. Catherine Briscoe was born 1866.

24 viii. Uriah Briscoe was born 1869.

25 ix. Thomas Briscoe was born 1870.

26 x. James Briscoe was born 1872.

27 xi. John J. Briscoe was born 1874.

28 xii. Mary E. Briscoe was born 1876.
