1. James Robert¹ Ligon was born 6 November 1863. James died 24 January 1939 at 75 years of age.

He married Sarah Josephine Long 15 May 1888. Sarah was born 27 June 1866. Sarah was the daughter of William Franklin Long and Charlotte Hatcher. Sarah died 20 January 1938 at 71 years of age.

James Robert Ligon and Sarah Josephine Long had the following children:
