He married Malinda Caroline Moore in Tyler, W. VA, 2 April 1865.

Oliver Peter Moore and Malinda Caroline Moore had the following children:

9 vii. Amelia Ann Moore was born in Louisville, Pike Co., MO 28 October 1868. Amelia died 6 February 1941 in Pike Co., MO, at 72 years of age. Her body was interred 1941 in Vanoy, Pike Co., MO, Siloam Cemetery. She married George William Goodin in Pike Co., MO, 27 February 1889. George was born in Fauber Audrain Co., MO 22 February 1868. George was the son of Robert Hardin Goodin and Fanny Malinda Capps. George died 18 November 1931 in Pike Co., MO, at 63 years of age. His body was interred 1931 in Vanoy, Pike Co., MO, Siloam Cemetery. (See George William Goodin for the continuation of this line.)

10 viii. Zena Moore was born in MO. She married twice. She married Guy Earnest Reid. She married Edward C. Lile.

11 ix. Amenthe Mae Moore was born in Cyrene, MO 1 December 1877. Amenthe died 1965 in Pittsfield, Pike County, IL, at 87 years of age. Her body was interred 1965 in Ashley, MO, Ashley Cemetery. She married Joseph Dunlap.

12 x. Ethel Moore was born in Ashley, MO 27 March 1884. Ethel died 14 June 1968 in Bowling Green, MO, at 84 years of age. She married Theodore F. Jansen 17 May 1904. (See Theodore F. Jansen for the continuation of this line.)

13 xi. Laucina Florence Moore was born in Ashley, MO 14 July 1887. Laucina died 25 February 1985 in Bowling Green, MO, at 97 years of age. Her body was interred in Bowling Green, MO, Louisville Cememtery. She married Thomas Marshall Strother.
