Proof of a prior connection between David Ferrie and Oswald is this New Orleans based Civil Air Patrol photograph showing both of them.

Ferrie denied knowing Oswald.

Phil Willis slide #5, taken just as the limousine disappeared behind the Stemmons Freeway sign on the Zapruder film gives a unique view of how positions were related.

You will note that JFK does not appear to have been hit yet, and all the Secret Service agents in the follow-up car are still looking forward...thus none has reacted yet to any shots, so that this is taken prior to the Altgens photo. This also appears to hurt any scenario of shots fired PRIOR to Zapruder frame 190, at the earliest.

Zapruder is visible just to the right of and slightly above the sign, standing on a raised section of the pergola.

Also seen in this slide is a dark image just at the left end of the concrete wall directly above the limousine. This image is known as the "black dog man".
