I have been camping all of my life.  Both of our families are campers.  My wife and I have different camping backgrounds.  She remembers her family loading up the Suburban and camping in tents.  My parents always had an RV.  There were occasions where I would go tent camping with my Dad, but that is somenting that I never experienced as a family.  The first tent that I owned was in a box on wheels and can be seen below.

I bought the pop-up on Valentines day 97.  You can tell that I was single at that time.  It is a 88 Jaco 806 Deluxe with a 3" lift.  This was a great trailer for me.  I could pull it anywhere.  Before I met my wife, I took it out for Mountain bike trips with friends and stuff like that.  My wife and I also got a lot of good use out of it together.  We used it for five years and it's value held very well.  I almost feel like I made money on the sale when we sold it late last summer.  Now, here is the replacement.

Lake Roberts Camp Ground (Gila)

We decided to take the plunge and buy a motorhome.  My wife and I wanted to be able to take more extended trips and have more of the comforts of home while away.  We were happy with our Jayco pop-up so we decided to stick with Jaco and we bought this 31' Granite Ridge.  We are enjoying it very much.
