Above, Bill has been an outdoorsman since
his early childhood. Here he poses with an
eastern wild turkey taken in his home state
of Kentucky. A champion of the enviornment
and wildlife conservation, Bill's donations
and works raise tens of thousands of dollars
annually for conservation causes and
orginations. Gaither Studios Photo
The artist spends as much time in the field as he does
in his studio, traveling thousands of miles each year to
study the wildlife subjects featured in his art. This
magnificient white rhino was darted for study and re-
location in Natal Province, RSA. Jim McHale Photo
In the studio, this artist brings paint and clay
to life with a tenuous, fleeting essence that
his works share with their living counter-
parts. This lion is one of ten African Species
sculpted for Safari Club's SCICF.
