A winding path leads upward reaching for the heavens, surrounded by
life.
Each step taken along the way provides newness, plethora of wonder for
the mind and spirit.
Brushing across, contacting, being very careful not to destroy - for
they are each living things.
Some grow actively, some become stagnant, others in a process of death
- but all given;
assembled here for a purpose, supporting the very essence of life each
in their own way.
Stopping points along the way provide a short diversion in the trail.
Another view from each - unique yet similar in the distance.
Below lies life of ages past; some formed long ago to provide support,
strength, the base of creation.
Now turning, retrace the lateral path to that of the main - more awaits
after learning and leaving this place.
The journey continues, ever upward until at last a peak is reached
and all else is in view below.
Now in the clouds of life - to commune with all observed, all touched,
all loved.
Stay for a while - experience the forces, energy of life and love, fortify
self to a strength before unknown.
Dwell at the precipitous peak, no higher can be attained here until
the next is conquered.
Balance at the edge, observe all of beauty that He has created, the
pleasure of all prolonged, retained.
There is no end, only another beginning and then another.
More paths to travel - another challenge now... an escarpment along
the precipice leads into the future, to a place unknown.
Unsure footing is encountered in this long, winding, sometimes tiring
journey to a valley far below.
There a river of rocks must be crossed, a worthwhile effort leading
to yet another peak to be attained.
