The doctors can always be reached at their home phone numbers, should you be in pain and in immediate need of attention. Most of these problems, however can be alleviated at home. This should certainly be your first line of action.

For soreness related to braces: Maintain a soft diet, and take whatever pain reliever you would normally use for headaches and similar discomforts. If soreness persists for more than 5 days, call the office and schedule a visit.
