The marriages of Thomas York (Sr,) and Alice Boreman and Thomas York (Jr.) and Mary Dickens  and the baptism of Thomas York (Jr.) are recorded in the parish records.

Cemetery, St. Lawrence's Church

Although we don't know the exact house the Yorks lived in, it was near the church and backed up onto the fields, with a view quite like that from the cemetery.

 

United Reform Church, Long Buckby

Formerly the Independent Church, in whose records the baptisms are recorded for the children of Thomas York and Mary Dickens and the children of Henry York and Ann Hall.

Church Street, Long Buckby

Maria York, 1841-1921, a granddaughter of Thomas York and Mary Dickens lived on Church St.  She is the last known York cousin to live in Long Buckby.
