While traveling the Wiccan Road,
I came accross the Shaman's Path. This is the name I give to the
discipline of being a shaman. It is like Wicca, in that one deals
with the Gods and Goddesses of Wicca. It is also different from
Wicca, in that it is a solitary path. There are other shamans
walking their own paths, but no two paths are the same. A shaman
deals with animal guides and helpers; takes journeys into the
otherworlds; consults the deities for help and advice; and a
shaman heals others, but only after healing himself. In the words of
Francesca Degrandis, "A healthy priestess makes all things sound."
Since beginning my walk along the Shaman's path, I have taken many other world
journeys. These journeys were referred to as "Immrama" by the ancient Celts.
It is in the otherworlds that a shaman does his work. I have had quite
a few unusual experiences while walking in the otherworlds. If you want to
learn about my experiences, or if you want to find out how to go on "Immrama"
yourself, follow the magical unicorn below!
